An introduction to the role:

As Maintenance Technician at LettUs Grow, you will be a crucial member of our farm delivery team, specifically focused on installing and maintaining LettUs Grow vertical farms. This is an entry level position for a hands on individual who wants to get stuck into all things vertical farm delivery. 

You can expect to be delegated responsibility at an early stage and will have a real opportunity to progress as the company scales. This role is ideal for an optimistic, hard working and creative applicant who is keen to grow with an impact-led startup.

Role responsibilities:

  • Attend site visits to potential customers sites as well as existing customers farms.
  • Assist in the installation and maintenance of new customer builds around the UK.
  • Assist in the installation of DROP & GROW container farms.
  • Provide general maintenance to our state of the art aeroponic research facility located in Bristol, UK.
  • Facilitate research and development experiments and endeavors at our aeroponic research facility.

What you need:

  • Experience with mechanical and/or electrical installations.
  • Experience engaging with external stakeholders such as customers and contractors.
  • A positive and optimistic attitude.
  • Excellent communication skills with the capability to relay technical information to non technical stakeholders.

Also desirable:

  • Experience with electronics.
  • Experience plumbing. 
  • Experience growing food or working in an agricultural setting.

The position is full-time , based in central Bristol and will benefit from training and external mentoring. Salary will be competitive to match experience, with the benefit of employee share options scheme.
