Where Growth and Innovation Meet
Farm491 is a business development space focused on land use innovation and the future of farming and food systems, located on the Royal Agricultural University campus at Cirencester, Gloucestershire.
We support entrepreneurs and innovators, businesses, policy professionals, researchers and academics with virtual and in-person support, as well as offer co-working and office space, with conference and meeting space available to both members and non-members alike.
We particularly support entrepreneurs and innovators in the land-based sector by helping them to convert ideas and technology into viable and successful businesses though dedicated business advice and our powerful network of academics, researchers, expert business advisors and service providers.
With mounting pressure on our land in the UK and internationally and the challenges of food, environment and energy security, there has never been a more vital time to apply innovation to land usage.
We are Built on Three Values

The Farm491 Approach
We believe in collaboration and the power of networking and support. We facilitate this through a range of membership options which provides access to our network of academics, advisers and service providers, as well as in-house business support and co-working space. We help individuals to connect, and businesses to succeed, by identifying barriers and providing mechanisms to break through.
Bring your ideas and join us, either as a paying member to unlock a raft of benefits, or as a guest at one of our many knowledge exchange and networking events.
