A Day of Dairy Innovation

Farm491 will be sharing everything dairy on Wednesday 13th September as it heads to Shropshire for the 4th UK Dairy Day.

The event brings together all facets of the dairy industry; farmers, students, breeders, geneticists, vets, feed merchants, dairy equipment suppliers and milk buyers – plus professional service providers, charities and colleges. For anyone connected to the dairy industry, it’s the event to attend this year; an opportunity to network, share knowledge, learn and most importantly, do business.

The theme of the 2017 event is ‘Sharing Knowledge’ and a dedicated zone will feature on the first floor of the International Centre in Telford, to include seminars, topical presentations as well as representatives from farming bodies, charities and colleges. The Farm491 stand will be positioned in this educational zone next to the Royal Agricultural University.

Verity Payne, Farm491 Co-Ordinator, says; “Sharing knowledge is a fundamental theme and resonates closely to the Farm491 proposition. Technology will be a vital part of farming knowledge for future, progressive dairy farmers. As one of the most forward-thinking and modernised farming sectors, the dairy industry is already fully integrated with technology and science so, it’s important for us to have a presence at this dedicated dairy event – sharing in the innovation and learning.”

Farm491 will be exhibiting in the sharing knowledge zone – on hand to chat to dairy innovators and entrepreneurs who may be looking to start up a business of their own and are in need of expert advice, a working environment or a collaborative community.
