Farm491 launch new website in time for LAMMA ‘20
The farming and food systems technology incubator based at the Royal Agricultural University has entered 2020 with a bang with the launch of their new website. The new site has been completed in time for LAMMA ’20 where Farm491 will be exhibiting in Hall 17 on stand 17.272, plus speaking at the event.
The website has a new sleek design with an easily navigable interface. As well as featuring their core values on the homepage, they now have a jobs board where their members can post job vacancies, and an online booking system for events.
The team at Farm491 wanted the new website to be ready in time for their upcoming presence at LAMMA ’20, which is the UK’s leading agricultural machinery, equipment and technology show, attracting over 40,000 visitors. The event, which provides a platform for exhibitors to introduce groundbreaking innovations to the market, is a perfect fit for Farm491’s remit.
On the 7th January, Farm491’s AgriTech Commercialisation Associate, Sarah Carr, will be speaking in the Farming 4.0 zone on the topic of, “How AgriTech has the opportunity to empower farmers.” The following day Farm491 member, Fiona Galbraith from RuraLink, has a presentation entitled, “Why your farming business needs a military veteran… and how to find one”.
Sarah Carr comments, “LAMMA is a really important event in our calendar. It features innovative, diverse and cutting edge ideas and technology, and we are thrilled to be part of such a fantastic event and hope to make lots of new connections there. We are also pleased to be able to launch our wonderful new website in time for the event. The website now reflects our core values and ensures that anyone who wants to find out more about the work we are doing at Farm491, has everything they need just a click away.”
LAMMA ’20 takes place on the 7th and 8th January at the NEC. Farm491 will be located in Hall 17, stand 272. Sarah Carr’s presentation will take place on the 7th January at 10:50am and Fiona Galbraith’s presentation is on the 8th January at 2:10pm.
