Farm491 launches online course for all entrepreneurs
Farm491, alongside Rod Horrocks, are proud to launch their very own online course available to all entrepreneurs across the globe.
Having worked with Rod for the past 4 years developing an exciting, interactive set of workshops to help entrepreneurs in the AgriTech, food and climate sector, we’ve taken the step to now develop a set of modules that can be accessed by any entrepreneur across the world.
Sarah Carr, Head of Farm491, says “The feedback we’ve had over the past 4 years on the content we’ve been delivering in “bootcamp” style workshops has been fantastic. With the world now more virtual than ever we’ve decided we want to reach as many entrepreneurs in these sectors as possible.”
Sarah explains the different options available to those looking to take part in the courses, “As we know that each entrepreneur is different, we’ve decided to offer two course options. The first gives you access to all 4 online modules for you to complete at your own pace. At the end you will receive a Farm491 certificate.
The second course option gives you access to all 4 modules, with additional bespoke mentoring. After the first two modules you’ll attend a group webinar (maximum of 10 delegates) to discuss progress, challenges and review homework. You will then complete two more modules and have a final bespoke webinar, and then of course receive a certificate of completion”.

Rod Horrocks has been working alongside Sarah since 2018 and together they have developed the 4 interactive modules. Rod says “The purpose of the modules is to break down the innovation process for businesses into three clear stages: ideation, development and commercialisation. We’ll be providing key resources and templates to each participant and by the end of the course they will have developed a clear business plan and strategy.”
