Val Crowder joins the Farm491 team

We are so pleased to welcome Val Crowder to the Farm491 team this month. Val has joined us in the exciting new role of Membership Experience Coordinator. This role is designed to be the key point of contact for members during their Farm491 journey with Val able to advise, signpost, make introductions and generally ensure that members are making the absolute most of their membership benefits. 

Val brings with her an extensive network in the agriculture and innovation sector. This has been built through many years working in the field as an agronomist and naturalist in Argentina and US, and since moving to the UK 25 years ago by working as an environmental consultant for large private companies and NGOs,  in the seed export and supply chain team at the Potato Council/AHDB, managing the secretariat at the UK Forum for Environmental Industries, developing and running the Alumni Programme for the Department of Physics at the University of Oxford and many other environmental and farming projects.

Val loves networking and building bridges that develop long lasting relationships. Her passions are farming and wildlife conservation, gardening and travelling.
