Webinar: Developing a Customer Value Proposition in the AgriTech Space

Event Details

  • Date:

Join us for two 4 hour sessions on developing a customer value proposition and translating this in to a business plan.

These sessions are ERDF funded. Due to this they are only open to UK registered AgriTech/Agrifood companies. You will be sent some forms to sign before taking part in the webinar.

Knowing your customers and understanding the value your product or service adds to them is extremely important for any business. Without always realising, most companies will have a large number of customers.

During the first session on the 20th May (9am-1pm) we will break these down and find out what value you are adding to each customer. We will then explore how to find out more through hypothesis testing and MVPs.

The second session on the 21st May (9am-1pm) will see us focus on translating this into elevator pitches, one-page business plans and pitch decks – all useful tools for yourself and for investors. We will also be joined by Phil Mitchell, director at Harbour Key Ltd, who will give us an insight into finance fundamentals.

Although each session is 4 hours, there will be plenty of breaks and interactive sessions. The group size will be small to ensure we can give each of you the bespoke support you require, so please do only sign up if you will definitely attend.

Any questions please email Sarah at Farm491: sarah.carr@rau.ac.uk.

You will also be offered a follow-up session after the webinar to give the chance to ask further questions or have feedback on materials produced.

Feedback from our most recent session:

“I would like to thank you for the amazing webinar. All the knowledge, feedback, and exercises have been extremely useful to identify my weakest points and from there, to generate new priorities and strategy to take the company forward. It was a really enjoyable experience, which will definitely help me to feel more in control and confident to approach challenges that start-ups face.”
