DO YOU HAVE A BUSINESS IDEA THAT BRINGS INNOVATIVE TECHNOLOGY TO AGRICULTURE? ARE YOU LOOKING TO GROW AN EXISTING VENTURE?
The Inspiring AgriTech Innovation Programme is part financed by GFirst LEP and the European Regional Development Fund ( ERDF) to provide business support to AgriTech innovators, start-ups and existing AgriTech enterprises in Cirencester, Gloucestershire and nationwide which have the potential to create jobs and wealth at local and national levels.
The two-day free workshops are designed to provide the bespoke support, tools, knowledge and networks that innovators need to turn their AgriTech concept into a transformative product or service. Over the two-day workshops we will focus on the WHY and vision of your business, and in doing so help you to communicate your concept, product or service to the right market with a clear vision in how you will disrupt or assist the agricultural industry.
The 2 day workshops are specifically designed for AgriTech and Agri-food startups who are:
- Deciding the next steps their business needs to take
- Looking to refine their business model
- Looking to become investor ready
- Wanting to develop or improve their elevator pitch
Farm491 membership is discounted for workshop attendees, and this allows access to our network of academics, investors, mentors and farmers, as well as invitations to exclusive events such as investor days, farmer focus groups and exhibitions.
This programme is project managed by Farm491, Royal Agricultural University.

“The programme has helped us remove some vital obstacles already! Really excited about developing further moving forward and becoming a Farm491 member!” – Marcus, MJECT & Co.
“All round a highly useful bootcamp and I would strongly suggest joining not only the bootcamps but Farm491 in general, it’s a really good notion and excellent to see this sort of project based here in the UK” – Chris, Ewetrack
“There was good direction on what we were covering with enough time to explore tangents specific to each of our entrepreneurial activities, allowing the event to really feel like it was being customised for our, rather than generic, needs. I would recommend attending this event." – Tom, FreeUp
