Background: RAW are the E.U / U.K Partner responsible for deploying ChargePoint’s Electric Vehicle (EV) charging technology. ChargePoint are a Silicon Valley based company and operate the world’s largest and most open EV charging network (70,000 stations), they design, build, and support all of the technology that powers this network, from charging station hardware to energy management software, to a mobile app. RAW require diligent students who are interested in seeing this equipment deployed across the U.K.
The Role: As an EV charging researcher, you will be responsible for identifying organisations that RAW Charging can deploy their EV charging equipment in throughout the U.K. and contacting them. This is an exciting sector which has vast potential and would be an ideal precursor for a career in renewable energy and infrastructure. Successful applicants will also receive daily engagement with the company directors and staff from whom they will gain a thorough insight into the renewable energy sector from project development to finance.
Degree: Undergraduate or graduate position.
Permanent/temporary: Temporary – possible opportunities for permanent employment dependant on performance.
