Farm491 Member Makes Final Stages of Agri Innovation Den

We’re thrilled to hear that one of our Farm491 members, AOX, has made it through to the final stages of the Agri-Innovation Den competition and is now in the running to win a massive £250,000 investment.

Agri-Innovation Den is back and even bigger than last year, with this year’s funding pot doubled. The initiative was launched by Briefing Media in conjunction with The Co-operative Food, and encourages budding agri entrepreneurs to put forward their business plan and showcase their innovative idea in an attempt to seek major investment.

Somerset farmer, Richard Counsell, is the inspiring founder of AOX – an online trading platform that helps the agricultural industry profit from or protect themselves against price and input cost volatility. Richard put his astute entrepreneurial skills to the test and pitched his innovation to a panel of leading agricultural experts and after gruelling interviews, the final eight candidates have been identified and we’re delighted Richard is in the final shortlist!
