Taking place at Kuhn Farm Machinery in Shropshire on the 1st October, the forum will address future needs, concerns and policy points for young farmers.
A line up of key industry speakers will present throughout the day; this includes Anglia Farmers, AHDB, Big Barn Cooperative, Savills, UKTI and many more. Angela joins the line-up at 2pm when the workshop draws to agri-opportunities and what initiatives are out there on offer for young farmers.
Angela Simkins, Centre Director, says; “The opinions of young people in agriculture are vital – these individuals are the future of our farming industry. The Farm491 enterprise hub resonates with young farmers – to drive our industry forward we need enthusiastic, dynamic individuals who are forward-thinking and pioneering. Technology in agriculture has a fundamental role and for our farming sector to feed a growing global population, technology will become even more integrated. I will be introducing the Farm491 enterprise hub and explaining how our hub can facilitate agri-entrepreneurs.”
