Ground breaking ceremony celebrates birth of new building!

Key players and supporters of the new Farm491 building, including RAU representatives, Farm491 staff and GFirst LEP staff, gathered for a ‘Ground Breaking’ ceremony to mark the start of the next stage of development. Located on land alongside Trent Lodge, to form an enterprise corner of the campus, the new building is due for completion by May 2018 – and will further expand the scope, facilities, and opportunities Farm491 has to offer its members. The first floor will be exclusively for Farm491 members and the bottom floor will accommodate a Growth Hub as well as communal areas.

Now that the land is officially celebrated, development and construction works begins. Stay tuned and watch this ‘corner of enterprise’ grow at The Royal Agricultural University.
