Croissants and Questions – January
In January, we are pleased to welcome Farm491 Business Advisor Christopher Horne and Patent and Design Attorney at Keltie LLP Sullivan Fountain as our guest speakers.
They will discuss ‘What features do investors look for in an agri-food technology company, how important is IP within that mix and what can you do about it?’.
Christopher is an experienced advisor to start-ups, university spinouts and more established players in the agritech and related sectors. He assists young companies in gaining funding and support. He also acts as an agritech expert for investors seeking to understand the sector and evaluate individual companies. Read more about Christopher here.
Meanwhile, Sullivan has a background in engineering and was employed at a major UK defence contractor as a systems engineer before joining Keltie in 2002. After 8 years at Keltie, he relocated to the West of England and joined Dyson Technology as a patent attorney in their Intellectual Property department. He has now rejoined Keltie, based in its new office in Cirencester.
Their presentations will be followed by the opportunity for Q&A and then networking, as usual.
Fresh pastries and refreshment will be served.
All welcome, especially those interested in strategic land management and the future of food and farming.
