Farm491 heads for LAMMA Show 2018

To kick start the New Year, Farm491 joins the UK’s leading farm machinery, equipment and services show this January. Taking place at the East of England Showground in Peterborough, LAMMA will attract a multitude of agricultural companies to share new launches, pioneering innovations, product displays and demonstrations.

Farm491 looks forward to being a part of the hype at LAMMA, along with a selection of its members including Farm-r (digital machinery trading platform) and DiAgrii (livestock tracking app). At the show, Farm491 will be sharing information on the recently launched Inspiring Agritech Innovation (IAI) programme. The initiative is based around a series of boot camp style workshops to progress agritech R&D and technology solutions to drive food production efficiency in the UK. With boot camps starting early in 2018, the IAI initiative sets it sights on facilitating a new wave of agricultural entrepreneurs.

Dr Ali Hadavizadeh, Programme Manager, Farm491, said; “The Farm491 team is thoroughly looking forward to exhibiting at this year’s LAMMA Show. This is the second time we have exhibited and we find it hugely beneficial. It provides us with an opportunity to meet with many forward-thinking, technology focused farmers, students and businesses and really helps us to build our profile. The Inspiring Agritech Innovation programme is our latest initiative aimed to foster innovative agritech advancement at startup stage. If you’re heading to LAMMA with a new concept, proposition or idea that needs support ahead of launch and scale-up, find Farm491 and we can help you on your road to success.”
